Founded in 2013 by Haji Basheer Ahmad Hamkar, Hamkar Wire and Cable Manufacturing Company has come a long way from its beginnings in a starting location at Phase#3, Herat Industrial Park, Herat, Afghanistan. When Hamkar first started out, his passion for providing the best electrical wire and cable products for his fellow people, drove him to establishment of a factory with 20000 square meter area and gave him the impetus to turn hard work and inspiration into to a prominent supplier in domestic markets. We now serve customers all over in Afghanistan, and are thrilled to be a part of the fair trade wing of the electricity industry.

The company has the privilege of being one of the main contractors in procurement and supply of wire and cables for government procurement entities and has implemented more than ten major projects.
